چکیده

We study a mechanism design problem where arbitrary restrictions are placed on the sets of first-order beliefs of agents. Calling these restrictions ∆, we use ∆-rationalizability (Battigalli and Siniscalchi (2003)) as our solution concept, and require that a mechanism virtually implement a socially desirable outcome. We obtain two necessary conditions, ∆-incentive compatibility and ∆-measurability and show that the latter is satisfied as long as a particular zero-measure set of first order beliefs is ruled out. In environments allowing small transfers of utility among agents, these two conditions are also sufficient. JEL Classification: C72, D78, D82.

Designing a new robust control for virtual inertia control in the microgrid with regard to virtual damping

Background and Objectives: Virtual inertia control, as a component of a virtual synchronous generator, is used for the implementation of synchronous generator behaviour in microgrids. In microgrids that include high-capacity distributed generation resources, in addition to virtual inertia, virtual damping can also lead to improvement of frequency stability of the microgrid. The purpose of the c...

The Effect of Training in Virtual Environment on Nursing Students Attitudes toward Virtual Learning and its Relationship with Learning Style

Introduction: It is impossible to be successful in virtual training unless we consider individuals’ viewpoints toward it. Despite this fact, less attention has been paid to students’ attitudes at the end of a virtual course in the published studies. This study investigates the effect of a virtual training course on the students` attitudes toward virtual education and its relationship with learn...

The Postgraduate Students’ Viewpoint on the Implementation and Launch of Virtual Learning; A Case Study of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences

Background and Objective: Given the importance of its achievements and endless and low-cost expansion of the educational system, virtual education is considered as one of the issues raised by the information communities. The purpose of this study was to examine the viewpoint of postgraduate students about the implementation of virtual education, which will play a decisive role in the success or...

Navigation of a Mobile Robot Using Virtual Potential Field and Artificial Neural Network

Mobile robot navigation is one of the basic problems in robotics. In this paper, a new approach is proposed for autonomous mobile robot navigation in an unknown environment. The proposed approach is based on learning virtual parallel paths that propel the mobile robot toward the track using a multi-layer, feed-forward neural network. For training, a human operator navigates the mobile robot in ...
